Mother’s Day at The Treehouse Creative

Our second-ever event at The Treehouse Creative? Completely sold out.

And honestly… we’re still smiling about it.

What started as a hope for a warm, meaningful Mother’s Day experience turned into one of those mornings that reminded us exactly why we built this space in the first place: connection, creativity, wellness, and community.

From the moment guests walked through the doors, the energy felt special.

Some women arrived with mothers, daughters, sisters, or best friends. Others came solo, ready to try something new. But by the end of the morning, it felt like everyone had found their people.

Starting the Morning with Slow Flow Yoga

We kicked off the event with a beautiful Vin to Yin slow flow yoga class led by the amazing Jamie Sadock of Wild & Free Power Yoga.

Beneath the twinkle lights of The Treehouse, guests rolled out their mats and settled into a slower pace of movement and breath. It was grounding, calming, and honestly the perfect way to begin a Mother’s Day weekend.

There’s something magical about watching people settle into a space and truly relax.

For an hour, the outside world slowed down.

Phones disappeared.

Shoulders softened.

People breathed a little deeper.

And The Treehouse felt exactly like what we dreamed it could be.

Watercolors, Creativity & Trying Something New

After yoga, guests transitioned into one of the sweetest parts of the morning: a watercolor floral card painting class led by the incredibly talented and vibrant Renee Reese of Hopscotch Art.

Renee brought so much warmth, joy, and encouragement to the room. Whether someone considered themselves artistic or hadn’t touched a paintbrush in years, everyone left with something beautiful they had created themselves.

Paint palettes covered the tables. Conversations flowed easily. Laughter bounced around the room.

And somewhere between watercolor florals and coffee refills, strangers started becoming friends.

Flowers & Coffee: Because Obviously

What’s Mother’s Day without flowers and caffeine?

Guests also created their own DIY floral bouquets, carefully selecting blooms to take home and brighten their weekend. Watching everyone thoughtfully arrange flowers while chatting and connecting felt so wonderfully wholesome.

Meanwhile, Coffee Co. kept everyone caffeinated with custom lattes and handcrafted coffees that somehow made the cozy Treehouse vibes even better.

Truly the dream combination:

✔️ Yoga
✔️ Creativity
✔️ Flowers
✔️ Coffee
✔️ Good humans

A Huge Thank You

Events like this only happen because amazing people show up.

A massive thank you to Jamie for creating such a grounding yoga experience, to Renee for bringing creativity and joy into the room, and to Coffee Co. for helping keep everyone warm, caffeinated, and happy.

We also have to give a very special shoutout to our new Event Coordinator, Dana, who jumped right in and absolutely crushed it. From helping guests to keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, she made the day feel effortless—and we’re so excited to have her helping bring these experiences to life.

And finally, thank you to every person who came.

To the friends who spent intentional time together.

To the mothers and daughters making memories.

To the women who showed up solo and left with new connections.

To everyone who trusted us enough to spend part of their Mother’s Day weekend in our little Treehouse.

Thank you.

What We’re Building Here

One of the coolest things about this event wasn’t just that it sold out (though we’re still mildly freaking out about that).

It was watching community happen in real time. People lingering after the event because they didn’t want to leave. Conversations continuing long after the activities ended. New friendships forming over paintbrushes and flower stems.

This tiny dream of ours is slowly becoming something bigger than we imagined, and gosh… we’re just so grateful.

If this event reminded us of anything, it’s that people are craving spaces to slow down, connect, create, and simply be.

And we feel incredibly lucky to be building that here.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the next one.
